Hamlin Lake is over 5,000 acres large, offering many bayous and coves to explore.

Hobby Crest Resort has over 400' of waterfront for swimming, fishing, boating and relaxing!

 

Our playground and picnic area overlooks some of the prettiest lake views you've ever seen.

 

A wide, gently sloping cement sidewalk leads to the waterfront docks, beach and firepits.
   

2008 Rates (open May through November)

  Summer rentals run Saturday-Saturday.
Weekly discounts offered May through mid-June & September through November.

Housekeeping units come equipped with dishes, basics for cooking, toasters, coffee makers,
bed linens, pillows and blankets. Microwaves are available upon request. Grills are available.
Towels & wash cloths are not provided. TVs & phones are not provided.

Each additional person is $50 extra per week (overnight $10). 
A deposit of 1/3 your total rental will secure your reservation. Balance due on arrival. No refunds. Check in time is 4 PM and check out time is 10 AM. Sorry, Credit cards not accepted. We accept cash, personal checks, travelers checks or money orders only. NO pets allowed!

Boat/motor rental, dockage, fish cleaning station & fish freezer are available for our guests. Fishing boats and motors rent on a "first come first serve basis" so please include this with your reservation beforehand. Cost per week for one boat is $55. Motors are subject to availability at $85 per week. Ask about our pontoon boats.

A large common building with spectacular views of the lake is also available by reservation. The area is ideal for group meetings and family reunions, offering dining room and deck seating for up to 100. Catering is available.

 

Sand dunes to climb and miles of scenic hiking trails are just steps from your cottage.
